Yarn Wreath

So, I made a yarn wreath for Fall!  I've been dying to decorate for Christmas, and Ryan insists it's too early, so my compromise was Fall decorating (which I never do).  I have seen similar wreaths all over Pinterest, so I decided to whip one up last week.  It cost less than $10, and took a few hours from start to finish.
These are the materials I used...a 14 inch wreath form, sheets of felt in Ruby, Orange, Cocoa, Gold, and Brown, as well as Ecru colored yearn, a hot glue gun, pins, and scissors.  I taped the form together at the seam, and then tied the yarn around the tape, and started wrapping.

I'm super OCD, so it took me way longer to wrap than it should have, but I didn't want any lumps or bumps or anything, so I made sure everything was tight and close before moving on.  This was definitely the most time consuming step of the process!
FINALLY, I was finished wrapping, and it was time to make all of the flowers.  Here is where I really failed.  I didn't take any pictures of my process, thus explaining it will make zero sense.  I will, however, link to some felt flower tutorials that I found particularly helpful.  First, I'm kind of weirdly obsessed with this girl, and she even posted a new felt flower tutorial today!  I made a few flowers like this one, so that helps with linking them LOL.  These are some of my favorites, as well as these pretty little flowers.  I think that this was the last tutorial I used, and here are pictures of my final product:

I must say that I'm pretty proud of it.  I really love how it looks hanging under my zinc H from Anthropologie, and it really "Falls" up the whole place.  Well, this and the ombre glitter pumpkin that my dining room table is rocking...and all the mini pumpkins and gourds everywhere.  I may have gone a little decorating crazy, but oh well!

Daily Nail(polish)

I'm so fail.  I am way behind with getting this posted, but this fabulous polish is Jermyn Street by Nails Inc.  The color is a creme taupe-y greige, and the formula is perfect.  Nails Inc. has quickly become my favorite nail polish brand (and I'm obsessed with the Kensington Caviar 45 second top coat).
